"EuroBLECH is the perfect platform to unveil Lantek v44, our most advanced software suite yet," said Christoph Lenhard, Commercial Director at Lantek Germany. "By seamlessly integrating connectivity, real-time insights, and smart decision-making tools, this update will empower factories to reach new levels of efficiency and competitiveness."
Machine Connectivity Technology
Machine Connectivity technology is a vital advancement in sheet metal manufacturing that links shop floor machines signal directly with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This integration enables real-time communication with Shop Floor Management systems, providing precise control over both 2D and 3D operations.
At its core, this technology is integrated with MES WOS Live module to interface with machine controllers, allowing automatic validation of operations. This streamlines workflows, reduces manual interventions, and ensures accuracy on production data. For managers, it offers real-time insights into machine performance, helping identify bottlenecks and optimize scheduling.
The Control Panel module complements this by offering a cloud-based web dashboard for monitoring machine status, diagnosing maintenance issues, and providing insights about daily performance. By connecting MES, CAD/CAM systems, and machine controllers, Machine Connectivity technology drives efficiency, accuracy, and control across the production process.
Assembly to Nesting: Next-Level 3D Importing Capabilities
The Assembly to Nesting 3D importer marks another major upgrade in Lantek v44, allowing users to import and unfold common 3D CAD file formats for quoting or production. The module automatically recognizes the design structure, whether it involves sheet metal, tube parts, profiles, or supplier elements including full assembly structure recognition. It offers a user-friendly interface, complete with dual previews (3D and 2D) of the components, previewing unfolded geometry in real-time. Additionally, it supports the standard bevels recognition, automatically assigning the corresponding technology when transferring the part data to Lantek Expert. .
“By simplifying the importation process and offering instant data visualization, Assembly to Nesting helps manufacturers maximize efficiency during the quoting and production stages, while ensuring a seamless workflow between design and manufacturing,” said Lenhard.
With more than 35 years of industry expertise, Lantek continues to lead the way in digital transformation for sheet metal manufacturers worldwide, with over 36,000 customers across 100 countries. The company’s solutions optimize production by integrating with more than 4,500 models of cutting machines, providing complete control over every step of the manufacturing process.
