Lantek will be present at MetalMadrid, Composites Madrid and Robomática, a leading event in industrial innovation, to be held at IFEMA on 17 and 18 November. The company, a pioneer in the digital transformation of the sheet metal and metal sector, is attending this year to present the latest improvements and advances included in the new version of its range of products from the families Expert, Flex3D, MES, Integra, WOS and Analytics v2021.
Lantek will be found at stand 7E07 in MetalMadrid, which is once again an in-person event, after 2020 when the event had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. The event is expected to host more than 12,000 visitors, from more than 650 companies in the sector who will meet in search of specific industry solutions.
At the exhibition, the company will present its advanced manufacturing multi-vendor solutions, as well as the new v2021 versions of the software Lantek Expert, Lantek Flex3D, Lantek MES, Lantek Integra, Lantek WOS and Lantek Analytics, for companies and manufacturers in the sheet metal sector.
This latest evolution of its software, which coincides with Lantek’s 35th anniversary, consolidates the company’s leadership in the field of CAD-CAM/MES/ERP solutions for the sheet metal sector, with the aim of supporting its customers to become more competitive through more efficient processes.
Important innovations in Lantek Global Release 2021
With Global Release 2021, Lantek continues its commitment to offering its customers and distributors the most advanced and flexible solutions for the sheet metal market.
To this end, the firm presents innovative functions within Lantek Expert, such as drag and drop, and the detection of duplicate parts, speeding up the import of data.
The software Lantek Flex3D can import 3D models as assemblies and sets of parts from almost all CAD3D systems on the market. This connection with 3D design systems also makes it possible to unfold all the sheet metal parts of the model, taking into account the unfolding factor, to arrive at a 2D shape ready for nesting and cutting.
In addition, the new management function Draft Piece allows parts to be marked that need additional design approval prior to manufacture, and the new Clean Cut technology can be applied to those contours on which entries, bridges or micro-joints should not be placed, avoiding possible imperfections in the final cut.
Among the new developments in nesting, there is the option Expand Nesting, which makes it easier for the programmer to take advantage of the unused space on the metal sheet, uniformly increasing the space between the pieces. In addition, the new Spiral Cut function for interior cutting destroys the material inside the hole so that it falls onto the machine bed, which avoids possible collisions and eliminates the need to manually remove the waste material.
With the improvements included in Lantek MES, Lantek Integra and Lantek Analytics, which include new KPIs, an improvement in the Dashboard and a Self-Service function, the company establishes itself as the leader in the sector.
"In an environment like MetalMadrid, we are really satisfied to be able to present to our clients and partners the important development effort made in the new version of the Lantek products included in the Global Release 2021, which highlights our extensive experience of 35 years in the sector", explains Joseba Montoya, commercial director of Lantek Iberia. "In addition, the fact that this year the fair will once again be held in person means that the event is set to be a success for both organisers and attendees, with the market demanding constant improvements once the economy is moving again", concludes Lantek’s commercial director of Spain and Portugal.
