The economic crisis doesn’t seem to be an excuse for Lantek to support the machine-tool and metal transformation sectors’ fairs. The company has taken part in more than 12 events worldwide up to now, thus consolidating its presence in other markets.
Lantek, worldwide leader in developing and commercialising CAD/CAM and ERP integral solutions for the machine-tool sector, continues betting on metal and machine-tool sector’s fairs as part of its consolidation strategy and strengthening in the international market.
These meetings have become a great showcase to show the company’s latest innovations and to create synergies and business opportunities. In this sense, a good example of it are the 12 national and international fairs in which Lantek has taken part during the first half of 2010, attending to 9 of them with its own stand: IMTEX (India); Industrie Paris (France); FABTECH México (Mexico); LAMIERA (Italy); Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Fair y CIMES (China); BIEMH (Spain); MACH (United Kingdom); and MACH TOOL (Poland), whereas to EXPOMIN (Chile), MECANICA (Brazil) and AUSTECH (Australia), has attended with some of its wholesalers.
New solutions and betting on Research, Development and Innovation
In these fairs Lantek has taken the opportunity to announce not only the technical and functionality improvements added to its solutions and services, but also the new versions of its CAD/CAM products for sheet and profiles cutting and punching, and its solutions for 3D sheet designing, sheet parts folding, and tubes and profiles cutting, or to launch in to the market the new business management software, Lantek Integra. This web based ERP has been launched in the Spanish, French and English markets, coinciding with the fairs held in those countries.
In these events Lantek not only had a stand, but also has took an active role participating in various programmes, product demos, and conferences planned with the aim of explaining in depth and in a more direct way the advantages of its products, how they work and help optimising processes, as well as the advantages that companies can take using them in terms of competitiveness, cost and time savings, or output improvements, among others.
What’s more, Lantek has highlighted in these fairs the importance of R&D+I in the metal industry, as the sector needs to count on applications and advanced and powerful services, which allow companies to respond rapidly to market’s challenges and demands, to its constant changes, and also to the current economic situation.
