Lantek opens a new office in Chile

Lantek, world leader in the development and marketing of software solutions for the metal industry, reinforces its international presence with the opening of a new office in Chile, where the company hopes to double its sales volume in 2013.

Activity is being started in Lantek Chile because this is the right time to enter into the region’s metal and mechanics industry and because this forms part of the support for the multinational in the emerging markets of Latin America. The main objective of the new office is to strengthen Lantek’s presence in the country, so as to satisfy the growing demand that the company’s solutions have seen over the past few years.

The new office, which is already in operation, is located in Santiago de Chile and is managed by Iván Lizana. The new team will be in charge of activities related to business development, consultation and technical support, in addition to offering training to clients and manufacturers.

With this initiative, Lantek seeks to offer customer support in a more direct and personalised manner and to become the benchmark technology partner for the Chilean metal industry. Previously, Lantek operated in the country through agreements with tool/machinery manufacturers and distributors.

Lantek Chile’s offices join the offices that the company already has in the Americas, located in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. With this opening, Lantek will have a presence through its own offices in 16 countries.
