Lantek presents version 28 of Lantek Expert at EuroBLECH

On stand F54 in Hall 11, Lantek will present version 28 of its CAD/CAM/ERP sheet metal and profile cutting and punching software Lantek Expert, taking another step forward in the innovation and development of quality solutions that provide value and competitive advantages for their users.

Lantek Expert v28 is a comprehensive solution based on advanced technological architecture incorporating latest-generation design and programming techniques. The new functions of the Lantek Expert II sheet metal cutting and punching application include:

• Task explorer: this is a new tool to facilitate organisation, searching and management of different tasks. It also enables the user to store work-related information, nestings and parts in folders classified by parameters such as year, client or product line, and includes specific tree search tools, all of which considerably speeds up the work process.
• Mosaic design and cutting management application: a new configurable option for part creation mode. This function enables the system to explore a drawing and generate cutting on different tiles to create a mosaic.
• System nesting library management: enables already-existing nestings and machinings to be retrieved for incorporation to new work orders, allowing them to be modified and generating new, more advanced machinings.
• Nesting import and export tool: a function enabling sharing of the nestings in an installation.
• New methods for performing nesting calculations
• It offers the possibility of storing various machinings by parts, facilitating work preparation for the possible production routes.
• Use of multi-thread technology for speed increase in processes requiring high computing capacity.
• Savings in time and resources: significantly reduces processing time for the most common tasks such as cost calculation, import process-related tasks, etc.
