Lantek reinforces its range of products with three new appointments

Sergio García, Karmelo Osa and Alberto García will work along with Zuriñe Saenz in the new Product Management Department.

Some of the objectives of this new department are: to offer profitable and competitive solutions, to render better service help and to support the partners of Lantek.

Lantek, world leader in CAD/CAM software and on-demand Management Software Solutions (ERP) for the sheet metal manufacturing sector, announces the appointments of Karmelo Osa as Product Manager for 2D CAD/CAM (Lantek Expert), Alberto García as Product Manager for 3D CAD/CAM product range (Lantek Flex 3D) and Sergio García as ERP Product Manager for America.

So Lantek reinforces its support division and it offers a great technical assistance to its customers in Spain and Latin America. Also Lantek provides innovative and competitive solutions which contribute to improve the integration processes with ERP and make it more flexible and dynamic.

Alberto García took his degree as Computer Engineer at the University of País Vasco and he has held very responsible posts in after-sales department and in Spanish Commercial Department. Mr. García will be in charge of consolidate Lantek Flex3D family of products (3D solutions for cutting tubes, profiles and bending machines) by promoting the software advantages in commercial level and increasing the number of authorized suppliers.

Karmelo Osa, previously responsible for commercial activities of Latin America and well experienced in the sheet metal forming industry, will be the new CAD/CAM Product Manager. Mr. Karmelo will be in charge of defining the guidelines for each product. He will be the liaison between commercial offices and development department, and also will take part in the decision-making in order to include more improvements in CAD/CAM software.

Finally, Sergio García graduated in University of País Vasco as engineer and trained in management and developing of ERP projects at an international level for Lantek, will be the responsible for ERP product for American market. Sergio García will consolidate the ERP Lantek Expert III offering assistance to the suppliers and commercials of this area and also analyze the market needs in order to develop new functions to the product.

“Nowadays, in difficult time for the economy, we have to offer customers a solution adaptable to their needs. This solution will also maximize the daily processes in an efficacious way”, underlined Joseba Pagaldai, Commercial Manager, Lantek. “For these reasons, Lantek has decided to boost the proximity between the customers, the supporters and itself defining the Product Manager figure. All of these will help us to have better contact with the market, technically and commercially, and will make possible to know the evolution of demand for of each range of product”. Needs and suggestions will be transferred to R&D Department of Lantek where more than 60 engineers are working to improve the company’s solutions.

With these three new appointments, Lantek reinforces all specific areas of each product range and coordinate with the R&D activities in order to supply integrated, flexible and easy to use solutions which are able to control and manage all the manufacturing processes; and include the possibility to offer updated information about the company situation in real time. So that the processes are expedited, the profitability is increased and the costs are reduced.
