Committed to its annual meeting with employees and partners, Lantek has held the 2021 edition of its International Meeting using a new format and choosing to hold a 100% digital meeting to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. The event, which was held on the 29th and 30th of April, took place for the very first time in digital format with an incredibly positive result and stocktaking.
Over these days, Lantek brought together over 300 participants from both the 14 countries in which the company has a direct presence, and its ecosystem of global partners and distributors.
Under the slogan #weareconnected, the International Meeting 2021 Digital Edition served as a meeting point giving all attendees the chance to get to know each other better and exchange opinions and experiences, as well as to find out the results and assessment of 2020 first-hand, in addition to the strategic pillars, news and objectives that will mark 2021, which has undoubtedly begun with two important milestones.
Partnership with Trumpf
The first milestone has been joining with TRUMPF to form a partnership, an agreement that marks a new and exciting phase for the company. As Lantek CEO, Alberto López de Biñaspre, put it: “This partnership is incredibly positive for both companies, given that it enables us to move steadily towards an exchange of fundamental technologies and know-how to shape the future of advanced manufacturing. Equally, it will allow us to elevate the excellence of industrial software, opting for open and more client-oriented software standards, in favor of more connected production and the efficient transformation of the sector”.
Global Release 2021
The second milestone has to do with the upcoming announcement of the new version of our Lantek Global Release 2021 software. The new features in version 41 focus on maintaining and increasing the value proposition and competitive advantages for clients.
With over 50 improvements and updates added in CAD/CAM 2d and CAD/CAM 3d areas, it also includes developments in solutions like Lantek MES, for production planning, and Lantek Integra, for business management; not to mention the specific improvements made to the Lantek Analytics. “Yet another example of our commitment to providing the metal market with innovative solutions that adapt and meet their needs”, highlights López de Biñaspre.
Results 2020
In terms of the results for 2020, the Lantek CEO wanted to underline and place value on the outstanding work carried out by the whole team in order to successfully finish a complex year marked by the uncertainty of the global market as a result of the pandemic, and in which the company achieved a new record in terms of billing and customers.
“A turnover of 21.3 million euros and over 25,700 active users in 2020, are proof that we’re doing a good job and that our clients recognize the effort we have made to prevent their businesses from grinding to a halt”, said López de Biñaspre. “I’m so proud of the “Lantek family” and really appreciate the ability and speed with which our own team and our partners adapted to allow business to continue and maintain the frenetic pace imposed by Covid-19 and the new remote working conditions".
Dynamic program and employee recognition
Additionally, those who attended the International Meeting 2021 Digital Edition have also been able to take part in a very interesting and dynamic program in which Lantek has combined over 10 presentations by the company’s team of experts with round tables and interactive discussion panels.
Equally, as a finishing touch, Lantek made use of this event to deliver the Lantek Awards to its employees. These awards are an opportunity for the company to express its gratitude for the effort, work and commitment of its staff who have exceeded all expectations and deserve special recognition. “The attitude of our incredible team at Lantek is above all a reflection of its essence and principles, allowing us to be prepared for new challenges that may arise, facing the future with confidence”.
